I love collecting beauty secrets from other cultures. Theres just something totally alluring about glam from another land. I mean, we all know how sexy the French women are, with their red wine, chocolate, and effortless chic. Or, how stunning the Italians look from their Mediterranean diet. And it seems the Greeks are no exception to the foreign beauty rule. Renata has written about her admiration of Grecian beauty in the past, so it came as no surprise when I tried the Greek line APIVITA, I knew I had found true brilliance in skincare.
First on my list is the Apivita Cleansing Gel with Propolis and Citrus. After I used it, my skin was wonderfully smooth and bright. The ingredients are 96% natural- and fortified with green tea infusion INSTEAD of water-and we all know the benefits of green tea, no wonder I looked so good! Follow it with their Aqua Vita 24H Moisturizing Cream-Gel with Chaste Tree and Propolis, and you’ve got perfection. It’s a perfect formula for the sometimes “too dewy” skin I get during the hot summer months. Moisturized, not oily.
Apivita offers skincare solutions for everyone, and they don’t stop at your decolette. If I’m holiday-ing on Mikonos, my bod has too look fabulous too. Try the Body Euphoria Bath and Shower Gel or the Body Euphoria Body Milk with Jasmine and White Tea. They smell divine, and my skin felt like silk.
Apivita Farms
Apivita founders Nikos and Niki Koutsianas, who met at an Athens pharmacy, (and married there!) started the brand in 1979. They draw inspiration for the products from the society of bees, the nature of Greece, and even Hippocrates, who used natural methods to help prevent disease. Both are extremely passionate about holistic healing and looking for formulas that nourish. Read the great list of ingredients used in the products, and you will see why your skin looks so gorgeous after using this luxe line.
So, even if you can’t jet off to the Greek isles anytime soon, try APIVITA and feel the essence of a coveted foreign beauty secret.
